Quest Employment are currently recruiting for a Sous Chef to join a fantastic kitchen team in their brasserie restaurant at a 4* Hotel. The Brasserie will soon be going through a stunning refurbishment, we are on the search for a talented Sous Chef to join the team and help evaluate the dining experience.
You will be responsible for daily operations of the kitchen and food production and ensure the quality of the food is being maintained. You will also assist the Head Chef with making sure all policies and procedures are followed.
The Job
Prepare and cook dishes to the highest quality standards, adhering to recipes and presentation guidelines. Monitor the quality of food throughout preparation and service, ensuring consistency.
Oversee food quantities and portioning to meet restaurant demand, minimise food waste, and control costs in line with our budgets.
Support and work closely with the Head Chef to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Step in to lead the kitchen team when needed and assist in developing new menu items.
