Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, design, and execute menus that reflect brand, customer preferences, and market trends.
• Lead daily kitchen operations, including supervising staff, food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
• Manage inventory and procurement of food supplies and kitchen equipment.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures to ensure consistent quality and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor and control food and beverage costs, develop budgets, and analyse financial performance.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate contracts and source quality products.
• Recruit, train, and develop kitchen and front-of-house staff.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement training programs.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and staff development.
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through consistent quality in food, service, and overall dining experience.
• Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Develop initiatives to improve guest satisfaction, drive sales, and promote customer loyalty.
• Ensure all food and beverage operations comply with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections of kitchen, bar, and dining areas to maintain cleanliness and organisation.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Head Chef, Executive Chef, or similar role in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong background in food and beverage management, including budget management, cost control, and financial analysis.
• In-depth knowledge of food preparation, kitchen safety, and sanitation standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
