The successful candidate will deliver engaging and inspiring drama lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4, motivating students to develop their creativity, teamwork, and performance skills. You will be joining a supportive department and a school that is committed to providing a high-quality education to all students. Key Responsibilities: Delivering high-quality Drama lessons to students in Key Stage 3 and 4, ensuring an engaging and inclusive learning environment. Planning and preparing lessons that challenge and inspire students, ensuring their progress and development in the subject. Managing classroom behaviour effectively, maintaining a positive and respectful environment for all students. Assessing and tracking student progress, providing constructive feedback, and setting targets to support development. Contributing to extracurricular drama activities, such as school productions or drama clubs, where appropriate. Collaborating with colleagues within the department and across the school to support the overall development of students. Key Requirements: A qualified teacher with a specialism in Drama or a related subject. Experience teaching Drama at Key Stage 3 and 4. Strong communication and classroom management skills. Passion for drama and the arts, with the ability to inspire students. A proactive, flexible approach and a commitment to student success. A DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
