Job Title: Senior Sous Chef
Salary: £39,000 - £42,500 depending on experience

Purpose: Support the Head Chef in food preparation and service, ensuring the highest standards at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead shifts and supervise staff in the absence of the Sous Chef, maintaining top-quality service for Fellows, College guests, students, and staff.
Deputise for the Head Chef when needed.
Assist in supervising the Sous Chefs and manage kitchen resources efficiently, minimizing costs and energy usage.
Follow Food Safety and Health & Safety regulations.
Collaborate with the Head Chef to compile and submit food orders, ensuring proper stock rotation.
Food Preparation & Menu Planning:
Assist with planning and developing cyclic menus.
Contribute to the creation of signature dishes for functions.
Promote the use of fresh produce and ensure dishes meet agreed recipes.
