We are currently recruiting for a BYD Sales Executive at Snows BYD Basingstoke.
Your Day
The Sales Executive role will be:
* To be an ambassador for both Snows and BYD, relaying information about BYD as a brand, its history, and vision for the UK vehicle market.
* To explain in simple terms how the battery system works for each vehicle and provide customers with reasons to switch to an electric BYD.
* To manage the BYD showroom area, ensuring all vehicles are checked daily, set into “showroom mode,” and that the battery charge is rotated around the vehicles each day.
* To engage with customers to build rapport, understand their requirements, and qualify their understanding through discussion.
* To demonstrate the most suitable options to customers, adapting to their buying strategy and encouraging them to experience the product through test drives.
* To appraise the customer’s part exchange vehicle, checking documentation and obtaining quotes for any paint or repair work, agreeing on a purchase price with the Sales Manager.
* To review accessories and additional product options with customers.
* To agree on the sale price in an open and friendly manner.
* To agree on the payment method and any finance arrangements directly with the customer, working within company guidelines.
* To consistently comply with Snows Group’s Treating Customers Fairly process, ensuring each customer is given the same opportunity to consider appropriate products.
* To use the TCF process to assist the Group in meeting its obligations under the Financial Conduct Authority’s guidelines.
* To positively participate in training and development opportunities to assist the Group in achieving its aims and objectives.
* To wear or use protective clothing and equipment supplied by the Company as appropriate.
* To handle waste products and hazardous materials as per company policies and C.O.S.H.H. regulations.
* To carry out other reasonable tasks as requested, commensurate with the employee's ability.

* Fluent written and spoken English.
* PC, Microsoft, and web literate.
* Full, clean driving licence.

Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday 08:30 – 18:00 (With a day off in the week).
Saturday 08:30 – 17:00.
Sunday 10:00 – 16:00 (rota).
