Job Title: Regional Sales Executive - Pharmaceuticals
Location: London & environs, Home Counties, South East. Preferred candidate will reside on territory.

Job Type: Part-time (3 days per week: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday or as per business requirements)
Salary Range: £30k per annum salary package with the ability to earn additional on target earnings

Job Summary:
The Sales Executive in the Pharmaceuticals sector is responsible for achieving and exceeding sales targets for pharmaceutical products within the region. This will be achieved by developing and implementing localised sales-strategies and driving revenue growth within an assigned geography. The Sales Executive will be experienced and have knowledge of pharmaceutical products, market dynamics, and regulatory compliance.
The successful candidate will build and maintain relationships with key healthcare professionals, meet or exceed sales targets, they will work closely with marketing, product management, and other departments to ensure alignment and success in the marketplace.
Attendance at Regional and National meetings will form a pivotal part of this role and the successful candidate will be required to travel.
This role requires a strategic thinker with who can achieve objectives and drive sales growth through effective management, customer relationship building, and execution of sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Sales Strategy Development & Execution:
•Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve organisational goals.
•Identify customer needs, and competitor activities to target opportunities for growth.
•Prepare sales forecasts and budget planning.
2.Customer Relationship Management:
•Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, including doctors, pharmacists, and hospital administrators.
•Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and timely resolution of issues.
•Regularly visit key accounts and oversee the management of all client relationships.
3.Compliance & Regulatory Adherence:
•Ensure all sales activities remain compliant with relevant regulations, including promotional practices, reporting, and documentation.
4.Sales Reporting & Analysis:
•Monitor sales performance metrics and contribute to reports for senior management.
•Monitor and analyse sales performance data to make informed decisions and adjustments to sales strategies.
•Provide strategic input based on sales data to optimize sales efforts.
5.Working collaboratively as part of the Marketing Team:
•Work closely with marketing to align sales campaigns with promotional activities.
•Collaborate with the supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely product availability.
•Engage with the marketing team to provide feedback on market needs and product improvements.
•Provide feedback from the field to inform product development, marketing strategies, and pricing decisions.
•Participate in regular team meetings to share best practices, product updates, and market insights.
Qualifications:
1.Education:
•A relevant University degree in Business, Marketing, Pharmacy, or a related field.
•ABPI Qualification
•Full and clean UK driving license
2.Experience:
•Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, with at least 3 years in a senior sales role.
•Experience of selling within the disciplines of Dermatology, Obstetrics & Gynaecology would be desirable.
•Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
•Demonstrable experience in driving performance improvements.

•A working understanding of pharmaceutical products and industry regulations.
•IT literate in CRM software and MS Office Suite.

Working Conditions:
•Collegiate environment promoting a flat structure for day to day working purposes.
•This position will require travel within the assigned territory and further afield for the purposes of meetings and exhibitions..
•The role may involve extended or flexible hours, particularly during product launches or critical sales periods.
