Salary £24,000 per annum + benefits

ABOUT ROLE
As a Service Desk Operative, you will report to the IT Delivery Manager. You will be self-motivated, keen to develop and able to work independently or as part of a team.
You will monitor the service desk activity, accurately registering calls for service and provide initial triage, resolving requests where possible or allocating requests for action to the appropriate person. In addition, you will carry out general administrative duties around IT and networking tasks.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
-Support day to day administration of the Cloud based software, for example, responding to alerts.
-User account creation and administration.
-Setting up and Distributing equipment to staff.
-Conduct routine IT housekeeping and proactive checks on our systems.
-Support the technical team with incident resolution.
-Supporting clients with troubleshooting and triage
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESFUL?
-Ability in the use and understanding of Microsoft applications
-Knowledge of Operating systems including office 365 administration, windows 10 and MacOS.
-You are required to have a basic knowledge of: Service desk operations and service management.
WHAT IS DESIRED?
-Knowledge of IT Technologies such as MDM, Virtualisation, Networking, Storage, web application development, Sophos Antivirus
-Familiarity with ITIL.
You will need to cover rotational working a shift pattern(7am-3pm or or 9am-5pm or 11am – 7pm) and 1 in 4 weekends (£150 extra pay for weekends).
You will need to undergo UK Security Clearance, this will entail background checks covering any criminal history, credit and finance and some wider elements hence the need for a UK Passport or 5 years continuous UK residency.
