Salary: £120-£251 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Term-time only
Teaching Personnel is looking for a passionate Drama/Acting Teacher with real-world industry experience to inspire students across schools in Northampton. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in performing arts to bring their knowledge and creativity into the classroom, helping students to develop their confidence, acting skills, and a love for drama.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and dynamic drama lessons to students of varying abilities in secondary schools.
* Share your industry experience and practical insights with students, bringing the subject to life through creative teaching approaches.
* Inspire and guide students in drama productions, performances, and extracurricular activities.
* Foster a supportive, inclusive environment where students feel confident expressing themselves.
* Work collaboratively with school staff to develop engaging schemes of work that encourage creativity and personal growth.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
* Previous experience teaching drama/acting in a school setting (desirable).
* Real-world experience in the acting or performing arts industry.
* A strong passion for drama and the ability to ignite that passion in students.
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
