Directly manage production and bakery kitchen. Overall responsibility of the production and delivery of products across sites, ensuring a safe working environment, with a motivated team, whilst producing products to meet the needs of the business.This is a hands on role, supporting the team in our Gloucester Services Kitchen and bakery, as well as working closely with the Westmorland Kitchen team.· To ensure day to day delivery of food products for departments across the business, ensuring all internal order numbers are met and a full food offer range is consistently available for our customers· To effectively manage, recruit, train and support the team· Setting production plans for the production and bakery team· Oversee specification and presentation of food products to ensure we are maintaining the company standards· To ensure that Kitchen and bakery areas are maintained to a high standard, working within food safety guidelines. Ensuring all Health and Safety procedures are adhered to and audited in line with the health and safety policy· Work as part of the larger catering team where necessary, using flexibility and your initiative to change your own activities to meet different circumstances· Responsible for stock ordering, ensuring levels are completed correctly and stock movements as necessary, ensuring all procedures are followed in regards to production, transfers, shipping, wastage and supporting the stock controller with invoice processing· Manage any issues in a timely manner regarding colleagues or inability to meet production or food service deadlines #INDWEST
