We are seeking an experienced Hotel Manager to oversee the operations of a boutique hotel located in the stunning Lake District. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and driven individual with a love for hospitality and an eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, manage, and motivate the hotel team to deliver exceptional guest service
* Oversee daily operations, ensuring all departments run smoothly and efficiently
* Manage staff recruitment, training, and development to maintain high standards
* Maximise room occupancy and hotel revenue through strategic planning and marketing
* Maintain and improve the hotels standards, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
* Manage budgets, financial performance, and cost control measures
* Build strong relationships with guests, providing a personalised experience that encourages repeat business
* Coordinate with external suppliers and service providers as needed
* Handle guest complaints and feedback in a professional manner
* Ensure the hotels facilities, including restaurant, bar, and spa, meet the highest standards of quality and service
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Hotel Manager, Assistant Manager, or in a similar leadership role
* Strong knowledge of hotel management software and booking systems
* Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
* Financial acumen and experience in managing budgets and P&L statements
* Ability to work under pressure and solve problems efficiently
* A passion for providing outstanding guest experiences
* Knowledge of local attractions and activities in the Lake District is an advantage
