I am recruiting for an HR Director for a 12month FTC for an industry leading manufacturer with quality truly at the heart of what they do. My client is renowned for their innovative products, which seamlessly blend high-grade aluminium with precision engineering.
They are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Director to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. This is a critical leadership role where you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR operations, ensuring alignment with their strategic goals, and fostering a positive and productive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage the HR team, providing guidance and support across all HR functions.
2. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
3. Oversee recruitment and selection processes to attract and retain top talent.
4. Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievances.
5. Responsible to ensure compliance with UK employment laws and regulations.
6. Support the leadership team with organisational change and development initiatives.
7. Maintain and enhance HR policies, procedures, and systems.
Requirements:
8. Proven experience as an HR Director or similar senior HR role, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
9. Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and regulatory compliance.
10. Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to influence and inspire.
11. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
12. Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
13. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
14. CIPD qualification or equivalent.
