We are looking for a Data Engineer, on a fixed term basis until the end of 2025. A newly created data team, working with the business to unlock the power of data to earn customer loyalty and drive business growth, by providing consistently excellent service, with a vision to connect our customers to our assets. As the Data Engineer your key responsibilities are Gather, analyse and run data for cleansing from a wide range of technology stacks Interrogate and manipulate data to solve complex business problems Work with stakeholders to identify technical requirements and design data products Support the programme team to complete business analysis activities Participate in data workshops with technical and non-technical stakeholders About you Degree within a technical or business-related discipline Proven experience designing and implementing engineering solutions to complex problems with usage of data mining tools and techniques Exposure to large and complex datasets, identifying efficiencies, required manipulation and governance Communication skills with the ability to liaise with both technical and non-technical audiences Inquisitive nature with strong analytical skills What can you expect from us At least the cost of living pay increase every year Company pension contributions up to 10% if employees contribute 5% 33 days holiday including bank holidays with the ability to purchase an additional 10 Enhanced maternity, paternity and adoption pay £750 net of tax to refer friends and family Hybrid working for eligible roles Development opportunities to reach your career aspirations BUUK has an award-winning culture.
