Sous Chef - Welwyn
We are currently seeking to recruit a Sous Chef to help lead a busy kitchen team. This role will mainly involve preparing fresh breakfast and brunch items along with British classics at lunch. The kitchen is open day time only and so this role will involve minimal evenings.

The Place:
A stunning four-star hotel with dining, in the Hertfordshire countryside. There are three main food led outlets, each has its own uniquely crafted seasonally changing menu, all distinctly different from one another. There is also a beautiful event space for weddings and private and corporate events with menus to match. They have their own vegetable garden and cookery school and utilise their own livestock on the menus.
The Person
* At least 1 year working at Sous Chef level in similar setting.
* Experience running/leading a small team that works hands on.
* High standards of cleanliness, stock control, and task prioritisation.
* Have a thorough understanding of health & safety and food safety guidelines within the kitchen including COSHH and HACCP.
* Ideally be able to drive or live locally.
* Have a passion for fresh food and good attention to detail.
* Have the confidence to create and be innovative.
