Customer Support Associate

We are supporting our client, a recognised and valued banking organisation in the search for their next Customer Service Adviser to join their valued Bereavement Services Team. This is an essential role where you’ll provide support to customers during difficult times. You'll play a key role in ensuring that the process of handling the accounts of deceased customers is as smooth and compassionate as possible.

Key Responsibilities
Reviewing documents and closing accounts for deceased customers while assisting their families throughout the process.
Providing specialised support to those dealing with loss.
Communicating with relatives, Funeral Directors, Solicitors, and other parties involved within the process
Collaborating with a diverse team to achieve positive customer outcomes.
Adhering to regulatory requirements in a regulated organisation.
Being flexible and ready to assist in other areas as needed. What You’ll Need:
Strong communication and listening skills.
The ability to empathise with customers and understand their situations.
Experience in customer service, whether in-person or over the phone.
Solid computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
A reliable and flexible approach to meeting the needs of customers and the business.
Teamwork skills, with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Basic knowledge of relevant policies and regulations, with the ability to work within these guidelines.
