Job Purpose
The Part 145 Training Manager is responsible for the strategic development, implementation, and management of training programmes for all maintenance personnel in compliance with EASA / CAA Part 145 and other regulatory requirements. The role ensures that the organisation's staff are highly skilled, competent, and up to date with the latest industry standards and practices.
The role offers the opportunity for a learning professional to work in the dynamic aviation sector, by utilising their skills to lead on the delivery of high impact training interventions which meet the needs of the organisation and external clients.
Job Accountabilities
Managing Staff
Create a positive culture by role modelling and projecting the Training Department's ethics and values.
Develop colleagues with the skills, knowledge and attributes required by the Training Department.
Set staff objectives aligned to the organisation's strategy and departmental goals.
Manage and support all training staff.Training Needs Analysis
Act in a consultative capacity to advise internal and external stakeholders / clients on matters pertaining to training needs.
Conduct regular training needs analyses (TNA) to identify skill gaps and areas for improvement.
