Adkins & Cheurfi Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for a Sous Chef to join our client's prestigious 5-star Country House Estate and Hotel in Kelso.
You will be responsible for day-to-day supervision, creation, preparation and service, ensuring that the highest standards are maintained at all times to the standards required by the hotel. Working alongside other senior chefs to assist the Culinary Director in leading the culinary department and creating an engaging and supportive working environment.
The Hotel and Estate have recently expanded to include new Spa facilities, banqueting and events spaces and additional rooms and lodges, this is a great time to join a growing team with big ambitious as we approach the new year.
Key responsibilities:
You will run a controlled and smooth kitchen service to deliver quality food and a luxury experience to our guests
Create memorable guest experiences
Create and present seasonal and flavourful food
Nurture junior members of the team to help them develop
You will display passion for the culinary world and inspire and lead the team
You will proactively contribute to new ideas by creating and developing new seasonal dishes for our menus to the highest standard
You will ensure that the kitchen consistently excel in the service and product that is delivered
