The ideal candidate will offer 1st line support duties to a wide range of clients around the Surrey region. Most of your week will be spent in the office with some work from home options each week (after the initial training period). You will have the opportunity to visit clients on some occasions. You will be directly involved in all areas of IT support and be a true asset to the company by delivering high levels of support/service to a mix range of internal and external clients.
The ideal candidate must have:
1. Outstanding telephone customer support experience
2. Excellent Communication Skills
3. Keen attitude to learn
4. One or more years of experience in an IT Support role
5. A passion for IT and Technology
6. A full UK driving license
Requirements
7. Handling and logging client IT queries via telephone and email remotely.
8. Update clients on the progress of their query when first-contact resolution is not possible
9. Assist with client projects such as data and email migration
10. Resolve software issues
11. Desktop and laptop fixes
12. Troubleshooting Windows 10 & 11, Mac OS
13. Managing active directory and group policy
14. Travelling to client sites when required
15. Experience with networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management
16. Knowledge of security systems (e.g. anti-virus, firewalls, intrusion detection systems)
Technical skills required:
17. Knowledge and experience with Microsoft 365
18. Experience with Windows Server and Windows client operating systems
19. Networking, including configuring Routers, managed switches, TCPIP protocols
20. Familiarity with hardware of Servers, desktops, and laptops
