About the Role
We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Drama Teacher to deliver inspiring lessons at a secondary school in Derby. This role involves fostering students’ creativity, confidence, and appreciation for the performing arts.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver dynamic Drama lessons tailored to diverse student abilities.
* Encourage participation in performances, projects, and extracurricular activities.
* Foster a classroom environment that nurtures creativity and self-expression.
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
* Collaborate with staff to support enrichment activities and school productions.
What We’re Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Drama at secondary school level.
* A passion for performing arts and inspiring creativity in young learners.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
