Job Description
The Talent Acquisition Manager will have sole responsibility for leading the attraction, assessment and delivery of candidates across the four business units within the UK&I. The role will be roughly 70% recruitment focused with 30% being on continuous improvement strategy for the UK&I business. This can be in the form of EVP projects, Recruitment Technology adaptation, early careers strategy etc.
We are looking for someone who can also partner effectively with the HR and utilise data to make informed hiring decisions. Reporting to leadership on key recruitment metrics and highlighting areas of opportunity.
You'll be the font of knowledge and the SME within the UK&I business of the recruitment industry, we look to you to showcase best practice and to challenge the business to unleash its possibility in the Recruitment and Talent Acquisition space!
You'll recruit across a wide range of functions and role levels from Manufacturing to Sales, from early careers to senior management.
JDE in the UK&I is divided into 2 functional areas Retail and Manufacturing. The HR team supports the whole of the UK&I population. We are a team of 12 HR professionals working across business partnering, operations, talent and reward driving the people agenda across the business.
You will influence Recruitment plans at a UK&I level and have input to global projects where appropriate. This is a standalone role reporting into the HR Director, perfect for someone with prior in-house experience who is looking to make their mark as the sole Recruitment lead within a business.
Key responsibilities include the following;
Business Partnering
* Partner with stakeholders to manage the internal and external talent acquisition process.
* Identify opportunities to optimise the talent acquisition process with a focus on continuous improvement.
* Coach stakeholders on the talent acquisition process ensuring hiring manager capability and a great candidate experience.
* Own the intern and apprenticeship programme from an internal and external perspective focusing on ensuring JDE is an employer of choice and has a great brand with local schools & universities. Then managing the full 360 recruitment of candidates.
* Capture and present recruitment analytics in order to provide stakeholders with a dashboard view and drive acquisition strategy. Manage the budget in order to deliver the talent acquisition annual operating plan.
Candidate Experience
* Receive, review and qualify all candidates focusing on quality and candidate experience.
* Continue to ensure JDE is providing a diverse shortlist of candidates to hiring managers and promoting our DE&I agenda.
* Manage all communications including interview booking and testing processes with candidates and suppliers.
* Deliver a world-class candidate experience during all touch points with candidates that will promote JDE as an employer of choice.
* Utilise headhunting tools to connect with prospective candidates for future and current opportunities.
Projects
* Explore innovative routes to market.
* EVP (Employee value proposition) – partner with the Global TA team and local HR team to promote JDE employer brand internally and externally.
* Manage supplier relationships and ensure we are optimising our partnerships.
* Upskill hiring managers in best practice selection techniques and tools.
* Work with the JDE Global Talent Acquisition team on selected projects.
Qualifications
What experience will you have;
* Proven experience of managing a recruitment process within a fast-paced environment both in-house and agency.
* Proven experience of driving a direct hiring model with extensive knowledge of the range of routes to market and an inquisitive mindset around future methods.
* Experience recruiting Food & beverage manufacturing individuals will be a big advantage for any prospective candidates.
* Proven experience of managing and influencing stakeholders up to a senior level.
* Experience in leading or participating in EVP and Employer brand activities and projects.
* Demonstrable experience of project management across multiple disciplines or functions.
