Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties:
1. Maintain and build business relations with couriers, freight forwarders, HMRC and customs agents.
2. The planning and arrangement of international consignments.
3. Prepare and check shipping documentation for imports and exports.
4. Monitor import and export shipments, retaining proof of deliveries.
5. Obtain copies of all import and export declarations.
6. Raise disputes for any inaccurate custom declarations.
7. Ensure records of all import and export activities are kept up to date.
8. Manage customs disputes.
9. Ensure all tariff codes are up to date.
10. Liaise with suppliers.
11. Keep up to date with customs regulations and changes in procedures.
12. Ensure that HMRC statements and certificates are accurate and dispute any discrepancies.
13. Support the finance manager with any documentation required for VAT accounting.
14. Support courier claims.
15. Other administration duties as requested.
16. Operate accounts worldwide, required to attend exhibitions.

Key Skills & Experience:
1. B2B Sales Expertise: Preferably in the food or beverage industry.
2. Exceptional customer service, presentation, and organizational skills.
3. Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
4. Account Manager experience.
5. A current, clean driving license is required.
6. Experience operating accounts worldwide.
7. Experience attending exhibitions.
