This well established and thriving global engineering and environmental company is looking to recruit a self-motivated Associate Asbestos Consultant to be based in South Wales, operating out of our Cardiff Office.
Primarily the role will be focussed on securing works from new and existing Tetra Tech clients in the region and then developing these relationships to establish a team within the region.
There is also the opportunity for international travel to support colleagues on overseas projects as a significant proportion of our works are overseas.
Minimum qualifications required are the British Occupational Hygiene Society modules P402, P403 and P404.
Key duties:
·Developing existing and new client relationships to secure asbestos consultancy related works
·Cross selling of other Tetra Tech services
·Client and account management
·Developing and manging a small team of site-based consultants to successfully deliver works
·Carrying out asbestos surveys, re-inspections and sampling as required
·Collating and producing comprehensive reports as and when required
Requirements:
·British Occupational Hygiene Society modules P402, P403 and P404 or equivalent are required
·A minimum of 5 GCSE’s or equivalent at grade C or above including english and maths
·Higher level qualifications such as an HND or equivalent would be advantageous
·The successful applicant will be an all-rounder, flexible, will have a good work ethic, good attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
·Security clearance and criminal background check requirements for work on various police and government contracts
·Willing to travel both locally, regionally and internationally
·Good communication skills, both written and verbal
