Primary Teacher Full time Permanent Based in SN25 Must have QTS Long- Term teachers are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic primary teacher to join a fantastic mainstream school located in SN25. We are looking for someone who is experienced and can bring a patient, positive approach to the environment. About the role You will be expected to plan, deliver and mark lessons to students in key stage 2, lessons will be designed around the UK curriculum, so it is essential you have a strong knowledge of this. Some students may have a special educational need, meaning you must be able to identify SEN and recognise how you can support their needs. Specific planning will be in place to support those with SEN, however your lessons must be inclusive for all. Regular feedback sessions will take place between you and the senior leadership team and other teachers, to assess students progress. You will also be involved with parents evenings, where you will have an opportunity to build a rapport with parents and carers. Other duties will include extra curricular activities and break time duty. About the school Located in a quiet, village-like area of Swindon, the school is a one- form entry Church of England school, with seven classes from reception to year 6. The school has high aspirations for their students and will encourage students to be independent but also team players. About you It is essential that you have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), in addition to at least 3 years of experience teaching within a UK school setting. You must be passionate about delivering the highest quality of education to the next generation and be able to put their needs at the heart of all you do You must have a strong knowledge of safeguarding guidelines and will be able to promote this.
