As Executive Leader – Strategy & Innovation, you will join the Council’s Executive Leadership Team in this new role which is tasked with shaping the strategic direction of Launceston and fostering innovation to enhance the city’s vibrancy. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role leads strategic projects, champions innovative solutions, and drives the integration of organisational planning to meet the city’s evolving needs.
Your work will support Launceston’s Strategic Plan and City Deal commitments, focusing on collaboration and effective project delivery to achieve sustainable community outcomes.
We are seeking an experienced leader with a proven ability to deliver strategy and innovation in either the local government or private sector. You are skilled in managing complex projects, aligning organisational priorities with community needs, and fostering collaboration across teams and stakeholders alike.
With strong innovation and people leadership capabilities, you have a track record of building positive workplace cultures and driving continuous improvement. Tertiary qualifications in a related field or equivalent experience are essential.
