About the Role: As a History Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality, engaging lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and 4. You will foster a love of history, encourage critical thinking, and help students develop essential skills that will support them throughout their education and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
* Teach History to Key Stage 3 and 4 students, preparing them for their GCSE exams.
* Create and deliver engaging lessons that make history come alive and spark curiosity.
* Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic development.
* Contribute to a positive school culture where students feel encouraged to learn and grow.
* Work collaboratively with the department and wider school community to enhance students' learning experiences.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience teaching History at Key Stage 3 and 4 (preferred but not essential).
* A strong passion for History and the ability to inspire students.
* Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
