Levy, proud catering and hospitality partner to The Jockey Club, is seeking an Operations Manager to join the team at Epsom Racecourse – home of the world-famous Derby Festival.
This is a unique opportunity for a dynamic and experienced operations professional to deliver first-class hospitality experiences across a diverse and exciting calendar of events. From major race days to conferences, exhibitions, and private functions, no two days are the same.
More About The Role
* Lead and manage the operational delivery of all events, ensuring high standards of service and guest experience.
* Work closely with the culinary, sales, and planning teams to execute seamless event delivery.
* Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing casual and core team.
* Ensure compliance with health & safety, food hygiene, and licensing regulations.
* Monitor budgets, stock control, and labour costs, ensuring financial targets are met.
* Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including The Jockey Club and event partners.
About You
* Proven experience in hospitality or event operations management – ideally in a venue or large-scale event environment.
* A natural leader who thrives under pressure and can motivate a team to deliver excellence.
* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with a hands-on, can-do attitude.
* Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to outstanding customer service.
* Flexible and adaptable – available to work weekends, evenings, and major event days.
