THE COMPANY
A small but growing Financial Services firm based in Wolverhampton is seeking a Graduate Pensions Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Mathematics or Science graduate looking to build a career in the financial services sector. No prior experience in pensions is required, as full training will be provided.
THE ROLE
Reporting directly to the company’s Directors, you will play a key role in analysing data related to clients’ pension schemes. Your responsibilities will include:
• Learning to calculate potential retirement benefits for employees.
• Ensuring pension schemes comply with regulations and financial requirements.
• Preparing reports, identifying areas for improvement, and making recommendations to management on the health and effectiveness of pension plans.
• Overseeing and managing pension plans to ensure efficiency and compliance.
• Undertaking general administrative and ad hoc duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will be a graduate in Mathematics or Science with strong analytical and numerical abilities. You should also have:
• Proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis tools.
• Some understanding of pension regulations and accounting standards (desirable but not essential).
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
• A detail-oriented approach to data management and a high level of accuracy.
• A proactive attitude and the ability to learn quickly.
• A good standard of written English.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) – advantageous.

This role offers a competitive salary of £25,000 – £30,000 per annum, along with excellent working conditions, including:
