This individual will be responsible for identifying and developing relationships with key commercial agents, generating leads, and securing new business opportunities. A strong existing network of commercial property agents is essential for success in this role. Key Responsibilities: Business Development Strategy: Develop and implement a business development strategy aligned with company growth goals in the commercial fit-out sector. Identify key opportunities and market trends within London to guide business acquisition efforts. Relationship Management: Build, maintain, and grow relationships with commercial property agents to secure project opportunities. Act as the primary liaison between the fitout business and the commercial agent network, ensuring consistent and transparent communication. Lead Generation and Sales: Identify and pursue new business leads through proactive networking and outreach within the commercial real estate market. Manage the sales pipeline and work closely with internal teams to follow up on potential opportunities, ensuring a high conversion rate. Client Engagement and Presentations: Deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients, showcasing the value and unique capabilities of the fitout business. Collaborate with design and project teams to tailor solutions that meet clients' specific needs and vision. Market Research and Intelligence: Conduct ongoing market research to stay ahead of industry trends and anticipate client needs. Provide regular feedback to internal teams on market insights, competitor activities, and strategic opportunities. Performance Reporting: Set and meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Regularly report on business development activities, lead generation, and sales results to senior management. Requirements: Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development within the commercial design, build, or fit-out industry. Network: Strong existing network with commercial property agents in London; proven track record of building and leveraging relationships within the commercial real estate market. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present effectively to clients and stakeholders at all levels. Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the commercial design and fit-out sector, including current trends, key players, and market dynamics.
