We have a fantastic opportunity for a Skills & Culture Advisor (Data & AI) to join our Royal London Group Data Office (GDO) team. The key purpose of the role is to support the launch, running and ongoing improvements of the Data & AI Academy; leading stakeholder communications to champion adoption and embedding of new data and AI solutions and ways of working and supporting communities of practice to help Royal London Group close critical skills gaps needed to execute on our business strategy. The role holder will be responsible for implementing and monitoring learner feedback and implementing improvements to Academy offering.
The Data & AI Academy is a key element of our employee value proposition and an important initiative in our transformation to support colleagues to develop skills in data, analytics and AI to address key competency gaps relevant to execute our business strategy.
In addition to the Data & AI Academy, the role holder will support senior members of the GDO team on creating internal and external communications to increase awareness, engagement and adoption of data, analytics and AI solutions and to nurture and promote an insight-led culture at Royal London .
About the role
* Administration of the Data & AI Academy ensuring the initiative delivers on target, on time and operates within budget.
* Logistics and communication : Arrange logistics for learning programmes, liaising with suppliers, RL Learning and Development Team and learners, and communicate effectively with colleagues on learning programmes available.
* Monitor and evaluate outcomes: Design and operate effective solutions for monitoring and reporting and enabling analysis to inform our product roadmap on key areas of opportunity.
* Communicate with senior leaders in business areas to establish their data training needs and prioritise Academy seat allocation
* Own and maintain GDO internal communications plan, lead creation and deployment of communications across channels, including internal webpages, articles, promotional materials and partnerships Collaborate with other comms teams across Royal London to coordinate messages
About you
* Ability to review or create communications about complex data & AI products and initiatives, to make them accessible to a broad business audience
* Strong stakeholder management skills, with a focus on business partnership and collaboration
* Strong communication skills, written and verbal, with a flair for engaging and creative impact
* Ability to influence peers and external supplier
* Excellent organisational skills to effectively coordinate a range of stakeholders to design and run effective operating processes
* Domain knowledge of trends and skills, knowledge and practices and technologies involved in data, analytics and AI
* Beneficial: experience and knowledge of methodologies relevant for learning initiatives e.g. competency frameworks, learner pathways and outcomes
* Beneficial: awareness of the regulatory environment for Financial Services and challenges within it, understanding of compliance and risk management
