They are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Design & Technology Teacher to join their faculty in a full-time, permanent position. Position Summary The successful candidate will have the opportunity to inspire students and equip them with essential design and technological skills for the future. This role involves: Designing and delivering engaging Design & Technology lessons aligned with the national curriculum across Key Stages 3 and 4. Cultivating students' creativity, problem-solving abilities, and practical skills through hands-on projects and workshops. Assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and implementing personalized learning strategies to support individual needs. Collaborating with colleagues within the department and wider school community to enhance the Design & Technology curriculum and extracurricular activities. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree or higher in Design & Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification. Proven experience teaching Design & Technology at the secondary level, ideally across Key Stages 3 and 4. Ideal Candidate: Passionate about Design & Technology and its real-world applications, with a strong commitment to student success. Possesses excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively and independently, demonstrating initiative and adaptability. Knowledge and experience in a range of Design & Technology specialisms (e.g., resistant materials, product design, textiles, electronics).
