Role overview:
We are seeking a skilled Assistant Manager with strong leadership and communication abilities to guide their team towards achieving sales and KPI targets whilst providing unparalleled service.
Responsibilities:
1. Supporting the Store Manager in effectively running all store operations to ensure meeting or exceeding sales and KPI targets.
2. Setting clear sales goals, tracking performances whilst evolving processes to ensure continuous store growth.
3. Creating a positive team culture through recruiting, training, and continuously developing your staff.
4. Building a motivated and high performing team, increasing chances of store success.
5. Analysing sales data and financial reports to make quick and well-informed decisions alongside the Store Manager, identifying and responding to areas of opportunity operationally and commercially.
Role objectives and KPI's:
1. Support the Store Manager in ensuring the store achieves the highest level of customer satisfaction by driving and maintaining exceptional service standards and promptly addressing customer needs.
2. Drive store sales through effective merchandising, stock replenishment, and team motivation.
3. Monitor and drive all key performance indicators such as Sales, Conversion, Units, and more.
4. Support the Store Manager in optimising financial performance of the store by effectively managing costs, including audit compliance and wage cost.
5. Foster a positive work environment by leading, mentoring, and developing store colleagues to enhance their performance and engagement.
Skills and Experience:
1. Experience in implementing, tracking, and refining store operational processes in order to achieve maximum efficiency and KPI results.
2. Passion and confidence in leading and supporting your team through their own career development.
3. An ability to interpret and react commercially to financial reports to support store sales growth.
