What would a typical day look like for you as a Mortgage Assessor? Owning a home is a goal for many people. It is one of the most important and exciting purchases our existing and future customers can make and our Home-buying Team is pivotal in the decision making. As a Mortgage Assessor you will assess and manage mortgage applications from initial decision through to final decision, working towards personal and team objectives. As a Mortgage Assessor, adhering to company lending policies is key as is providing guidance to Customers and Mortgage Brokers, offering solutions to queries and ultimately assessing applications taking into consideration all potential risks to the Banks lending decision. This role is customer centric, with a focus on team objectives and the ability to manage your time effectively. The Mortgage Assessor role will suit you if attention to detail is your strength, you are comfortable managing challenging conversations and have a passion for customer service. You will flourish if you have previous experience of liaising with customers via telephone / email and have had experience of inputting customer data. Experience of liaising with 3rd parties would be beneficial but not essential.
