A bit about me:
I am a 77-year-old female, I live in a little bungalow with my small friendly dog. I enjoy being as independent as possible but due to my reduced mobility I do find some daily activities challenging. I enjoy the company of other people and love to chat! I enjoy reading and watching the television. In the past I used to make jewellery and paint which is something that I would be interested in doing a little of again with help.
About the role:
I am looking for someone who could help me with some personal care on days when my health isn’t so good, especially with things like washing my hair which I can find difficult. I would also appreciate help with my general laundry, changing bedding and some cookery. I enjoy cooking but again find some aspects difficult like getting dishes in and out of the oven. When the weather is fine and if there is time, I would also love to be able to take a short walk knowing that there is a friendly person by my side if needed.
The kind of person I am looking for:
Friendly and approachable, responsible, reliable and trustworthy. Good communication and social skills. To respect confidentiality and privacy and be sensitive to my needs. Be able to accept responsibility. Be willing to learn and have the ability to work on your own initiative.
