The role will involve: Supporting students on a 1:1 basis and in small group settings Working closely with class teachers and the SENCo to implement individual learning plans Assisting with classroom management and the delivery of engaging lessons Encouraging social development and emotional well-being Promoting an inclusive learning environment tailored to individual needs About the students: The school supports children and young people aged 7 to 16 with a range of Special Educational Needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. Many of the students benefit from personalised support and consistent routines to help them achieve their full potential both academically and socially. Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to SEN education are essential for this role.
