Job Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for an Endoscopy Audit Coordinator to support us with achieving our accreditation and upholding a positive patient experience plus safety quality standards. This role is for 8 months to cover maternity leave.
Main duties of the job
* To analyse complex information and present findings clearly and concisely
* To be responsible for the production of detailed clinical audit reports based on JAG audit timetable
* Provide and conduct presentations of clinical audit projects as required
* To support the Clinical Audit Lead for Endoscopy
* To support the Training Lead for GI Endoscopy
* Prepare raw data for BSG auditable outcomes using EPIC electronic patients records
* To promote and encourage participation in clinical audit and other forms of quality improvement by clinical staff, and support and encourage clinically effective, evidence-based practice
* To liaise with the Trust Clinical Audit & Effectiveness Manager, maintaining awareness of any clinical audit requirements contained in national audit/governance initiatives which relate to gastroenterology
* To make sure that the patient satisfaction questionnaires are distributed once a year, to collate the results and produce audit reports
* To support the Senior Matron & Clinical Lead in completing the 6 Monthly GRS (Global Rating Scale) census submission and the Annual JAG (Joint Advisory Group) Report Card return.
* To facilitate re-audits to ensure changes to practice have resulted in improvements to patients care
* Admin support for the Endoscopy training academy

* To be able to network with senior managers and clinicians both internally and externally to the Trust
