Job Title: Maintenance Engineer Location: Darton Salary: Up to £45,000 Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 07:45 – 16:30 Friday: 08:00 – 13:00. Role Overview: A hands-on role within a small team responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing Waterjet and other types of machinery. The position also includes general building, electrical, and mechanical maintenance. Key Responsibilities: Service, repair, and maintain Waterjet, router, and other machinery, including setup and operation. Carry out general warehouse duties. Accurately record maintenance issues in the system. Support continuous improvement initiatives to minimize downtime and enhance productivity. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults. Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations for employees, visitors, and yourself. Assist external contractors with related tasks when required. Ability to read and interpret technical, mechanical, and electrical drawings. Strong understanding of Health and Safety regulations. Self-motivated, diligent, and analytical mindset. PC literacy and ability to use relevant software. Proficiency in using hand tools and testing equipment. Desirable: Experience in Waterjet / Laser cutting. Formal engineering qualification or apprenticeship. Knowledge of control systems and their operation. Welding / Fabrication skills. Experience using manufacturing control systems. Valid counterbalance forklift license. IPAF certification
