Job summary We are looking for a clinical psychologist/neuropsychologist to join our Adult Neuropsychology team in an exciting Trust-wide role in a one year fixed term (maternity cover) role. Main duties of the job The postholder will be part of a valued and established Adult Neuropsychology Consultation service in NELFT which offers specialist neuropsychological assessment, consultation and advice to teams in both community health and mental health pathways in the Trust. These teams include local community rehabilitation teams, specialist community neurology nurses, Talking Therapies (TT) and Mental Health and Well-Being Teams (MHWTs). The post-holder will be involved in neuropsychology pathway service development including generating business cases, supervision of qualified psychologists, trainee psychologists and assistant psychologists, delivery of teaching and training on neuropsychology topics, and promotion of the service throughout the Trust. The main team base is in a new, purpose-built community health centre (Jane Atkinson Health and Well-Being Centre, Waltham Forest) but the other bases across NELFTs London boroughs could be used. Some hybrid working can be accommodated in the role. NELFT is a digitally literate Trust, with laptop and smart phone provision, and the post-holder will have access to Pearson's Qinteractive platform for their neuropsychological assessments. Supervision is provided by a Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist on the Specialist Register of Clinical Neuropsychologists (SRCN) About us Probationary Period This post will be subject to a probationary period. Starting with NELFT NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust.
