What You'll Do:
You'll play a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity of our client's organisation. Your responsibilities will include:
* Posting Invoices: Ensure timely and accurate posting of invoices while managing credit notes and returns.
* Supplier Statement Reconciliation: Reconcile supplier statements to maintain accurate records and resolve discrepancies.
* Effective Communication: Engage with colleagues and suppliers at all levels, fostering positive relationships and ensuring clarity in all communications.
* Ledger Closures & Month-End Processes: Support the team in ledger closures and assist with month-end processes to keep everything on track.
* Purchase Order Management: Efficiently manage purchase orders and assist with supplier setup and maintenance for seamless operations.
* Transaction Posting: Post bank and credit card transactions to ensure accurate financial reporting.
* Payment Allocation: Manage payment allocations to ensure all accounts are up to date.
* Budget Analysis: Analyse budget variations to provide insights and assist in financial planning.
* Audit Assistance: Play a key role in the audit process, ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.
* Reconciliations: Conduct reconciliations for balance sheets, bank accounts, direct costs, revenue, and more.
* Journal Posting: Post journals to maintain accurate financial records.
* P/L Review: Participate in profit and loss reviews to help drive financial performance.
* Accounts Inbox Management: Oversee the accounts inbox, ensuring timely responses and resolutions.
What We're Looking For:
* Experience: Early AAT studier or a recent financial graduate
* Attention to Detail: You should have a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must!
* Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments.
