North Devon Coastal PCN is looking for an individual to join our expanding Pharmacy Team consisting of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.

You will be working collaboratively with GPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Your clinical expertise and prescribing abilities will be key in managing complex medication needs and supporting patients in achieving better health outcomes.

North Devon Coastal Primary Care Network partnership comprises three practices: Combe Coastal Practice, South Molton Medical Centre, and Caen Medical Centre. The network looks after approximately 45,000 patients.
The Network has recently undergone a management restructure, which marks an exciting new chapter for the organisation, aimed at enhancing patient care and streamlining operational efficiency. This strategic shift reflects the network's commitment to adapting to the evolving needs of the community whilst fostering innovation and collaboration among its members.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Completion of an undergraduate degree in pharmacy and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
* Independent prescribing qualification.
* Member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS).
* Post-graduate clinical diploma.
Knowledge and Skills
* Understanding of the basic duties required for the post.
* Experience of developing new ways of working in terms of clinical management.
* Understanding of the wider determinants of health, including social, economic, and environmental factors and their impact on communities.
Qualities and Attributes
* Ability to work without direct supervision.
* Excellent interpersonal skills to develop and maintain effective working relationships.
* Able to use own initiative.
* Ability to use own judgement, resourcefulness, and common sense.

Other Requirements
* Car owner and must be able to work across the PCN.
* Meets DBS reference standards and has a clear criminal record, in line with the law on spent convictions.
* Flexible about working hours.
Experience
* Experience of working with patients in a busy environment.
* Experience of working in Primary Care.
* Experience in the use of Primary Care/NHS computer systems.
