(Pro-rata 37.5 hours per week, term-time plus 1 week: 0.8769FTE £26,112 - £29,064)Cathedral Schools Trust are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Work Experience (WEX) Coordinator to support students in developing employability skills and preparation for the world of work through successful implementation of Work Experience programmes. As Work Experience coordinator you will be responsible for delivering a programme of Work Experience to Year 10 and Year 12 students within Cathedral Schools Trust secondary schools: Bristol Cathedral Choir School, St Katherine’s School and Trinity Academy. As Trust Work Experience Coordinator you can expect to lead on the programme of WEX across Trust secondary schools as well as take an active role in supporting the growing careers team and developing CEIAG programmes. Within this role you will work with Trust Careers Leaders to ensure all students secure and complete a WEX placement, that all placements are tracked on school management information systems and proactively support students/parents/employers throughout placements to achieve excellent outcomes for all stakeholders. The successful candidate will demonstrate a passion for working with young people as well as a keen interest in supporting students to increase their life opportunities through both employability skills and employer engagement. The person appointed should be highly attentive with the ability to adapt to the world of education and work/act in accordance to Trust values; Creative, Collaborative, Reflective.
