Main duties of the job
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Clinical Bed manager team in Trauma and Orthopaedics. They will be responsible for managing both emergency and elective flow throughout our care group and will work closely with the ward and management teams. This role is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to develop as well as any existing bed managers. We are excited to support a successful candidate in learning and developing the skills required of the role and welcome them into our team.

Previous or relevant experience necessary
* Extensive experience at band 5 or equivalent.
* Knowledge of current issues within acute Health Service.
* Understanding of personal accountability.
* Logical and consistent work and career pattern.

* ECDL Courses.

Qualifications / training required
* 1st level registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
* Higher Education Institute approved course in supporting learner in practice.
* Evidence of ongoing personal development.
* Mentorship qualification (or evidence of meeting the outcomes of the NMC standards).
* Educated to or working towards Degree level.
Desirable
* Specialist qualification. Graduate.
