This role seeks an experienced Advocacy Service Manager to oversee and enhance the advocacy service within a prestigious not-for-profit organisation located in Croydon. Client Details Our client is a well-established not-for-profit organisation in the public sector. They have a wide reach and are dedicated to providing critical services and support to individuals affected by abuse. Description Oversee the day-to-day operations of the advocacy service Lead, manage, and develop a team of advocacy workers Ensure the delivery of high-quality advocacy support to service users Work closely with stakeholders to improve service delivery Develop and maintain operational policies and procedures Conduct regular staff training and development Manage service budgets effectively Represent the organisation at external events and meetings Profile A successful Advocacy Service Manager should have: A thorough understanding of VAWG sector Previous experience in managing advocacy services Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Proven experience in budget management An ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders Understanding of the criminal justice service Prior experience as an IDVA Job Offer A competitive salary in the range of £35,000 - £40,000 Generous annual leave of 27 days A commitment to employee development This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in a prestigious not-for-profit organisation.
