Citizens Advice Luton is a well-respected local charity with over 30 years’ experience of delivering free, independent and impartial information, advice and casework services which meet the changing needs of local residents.
We are seeking a reliable Cleaner to clean our Luton town centre based office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across the two floors we occupy in Community House, ensuring proper cleaning and sanitising of the kitchen, desks, floors, and other common areas.
Duties
• Perform cleaning tasks in accordance with established standards and procedures.
• Vacuum floors to maintain cleanliness and wipe down desks and other surfaces
• Clean and sanitise kitchen
• Dispose of waste and recyclables appropriately.
• Manage all cleaning supplies and liaise with office management regarding stock.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
• Communicate effectively with management to ensure satisfaction with cleaning services.
• Set alarm and lock up at end of duties
Requirements
• Previous experience in a cleaning role is advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work independently as well as interact positively with staff when necessary
• Reliable and trustworthy
