Role: Assistant Management Accountant Location: Glasgow City Centre Looking to elevate your career and account for revenue and costs, and assist in preparing the management accounts for an award-winning, ambitious employer? You will be working closely with the Finance team, and senior stakeholders across various departments. This opportunity requires a confident professional to work in cross-collaboration with different departments. Our client is ideally looking for someone with experience in accounting processes, strong understanding of prepayments and accruals, and has excellent experience in Microsoft Office who is looking for a new challenge and the opportunity to thrive within a high-profile role. Month End Management Accounts: Reconciling budgets to the finance system Preparing individual accounts with revenue recognition to posting journals Managing the reconciliation process of expenses system to the cost managers Assisting in preparing month end journals, accruals, prepayments Assist in preparing quarterly VAT returns Distribution Accounting: Issuing distribution sales invoices Preparing and issuing 3rd party share statements Reporting: Preparing weekly cashflow information Assist Senior Management Accountant with producing the monthly management accounts Ad hoc data analysis reporting to Senior Management Internal Controls, Efficiencies and Ad hoc Projects: Help finance team with improvements to processes and working papers Assist with year end audit requests Experience: Knowledge of accounting processes and workflows Experience in accruals, prepayments Currently studying towards qualification Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines Strong organisational skills Looking to develop relationships with finance and stakeholders across various departments If you're ready to grow with a market-leading business and take on a rewarding and impactful role, I'd love to hear from you Please send your CV to Rosie Hutcheon, via the 'Apply Now' option to be considered for the role.
