We are seeking an experienced and innovative Digital Marketing Manager to lead our digital marketing strategies and team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of digital marketing channels and technologies, a proven track record of driving results through performance-based marketing campaigns, and the ability to lead a team to success. You will oversee all digital marketing efforts, working closely with our external agency, driving customer acquisition, engagement, and retention through data-driven strategies and innovative digital tactics.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic planning and execution:
* Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies that align with company goals, including customer acquisition, brand awareness, and revenue growth.
* Create and manage the digital marketing budget, ensuring an optimal allocation of resources across paid, owned, and earned channels.
Team leadership:
* Lead, mentor, and manage the digital marketing team, including specialists in social media, content marketing and web development
* Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the team
* Manage the relationship with the external digital marketing agency
Campaign management and optimisation:
* Oversee and optimise digital advertising campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others.
* Analyse and report on the performance of digital campaigns, using data to improve performance, maximise ROI, and meet KPIs.
* Experiment with new digital marketing trends, tools, and tactics to keep the company at the forefront of the industry.
SEO and content strategy:
* Work closely with the Content Manager to ensure that the digital content strategy is aligned with business objectives, driving organic search traffic, lead generation, and customer engagement.
* Monitor and improve SEO performance, including on-page optimisation, backlink strategy, and technical SEO.
Analytics and reporting:
* Lead data-driven decision-making by tracking and analysing key performance indicators (KPIs) such as traffic, conversions, leads, and customer retention metrics.
* Provide regular performance reports to senior leadership, offering insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Website management:
* Oversee the management of the website, working closely with web developers.
* Ensure the website is user friendly, responsive and optimised for both desktop and mobile users.
* Work closely with the creative team to ensure content is fresh and updated.
Customer journey optimisation:
* Develop strategies to improve the customer journey from awareness to conversion, leveraging user behaviour data and segmentation.
* Collaborate with the sales and recruitment teams to ensure digital marketing aligns with sales and recruitment efforts.
Cross-functional collaboration:
* Work closely with the creative and central marketing team as well as sales, recruitment and SMEs to ensure that digital marketing efforts are aligned with overall company objectives.
Required skills and qualifications:
* 8+ years of experience in digital marketing, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role.
* Proven track record of successfully developing and executing digital marketing strategies that drive measurable results.
* Strong experience with SEM/PPC, email marketing, content marketing, social media, and analytics tools.
* Understanding and experience with SEO
* Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and other marketing platforms.
* In-depth knowledge of digital marketing trends, technologies, and best practices.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
