If so DE&S have an exciting opportunity for an engineer to join their team at HMNB Portsmouth. You will join our Military Equipment Tools Solutions (METS) team who provides crucial support to a variety of platforms within the Royal Navy, Army, and Royal Air Force. As part of the METS team, you will be responsible for the tools and toolkits used across all three services. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the armed forces are equipped with the best tools to maintain and operate their equipment effectively. Your primary focus will be to assist in providing toolkits that meet defence standards, including those set by the Military Aviation Authority. You will offer in-service support to tri-service customers, ensuring that their needs are met promptly and efficiently. Your strong verbal and written communication skills will be essential as you collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels, both within and outside the team. This includes working closely with military personnel, contractors, and other government departments to ensure that all tools and equipment are up to standard and ready for use.
