Description
We currently have a vacancy for an Operations Manager to cover our Northwest region. Reporting in to the Regional Manager, this person will be responsible for managing and delivering work, with a focus on safety, quality of delivery and operational efficiency. Leading a team and working alongside other senior leaders to further grow our capabilities within the Region.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key customers, ensuring their needs and expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
* Conduct regular site audits to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.
* Promote and enforce safe working practices across all operational activities.
* Implement and uphold company policies and procedures to maintain consistency and compliance across the business.
* Collaborate cross-functionally to optimise resource sharing and operational efficiency.
* Mentor, support, and upskill Depot Managers to enhance their leadership and operational performance.
* Oversee the successful delivery of major projects, ensuring all work meets required quality and safety standards.
* Manage and lead the operational delivery team, ensuring high performance and accountability.
* Support Depot Managers in engaging effectively with frontline operatives to drive motivation and productivity.
* Oversee the scheduling, resourcing, and planning of works to ensure efficient and timely delivery.
* Lead incident investigations, ensuring root causes are identified and corrective actions are implemented effectively.
* Contribute to recruitment and workforce development strategies to maintain a strong talent pipeline aligned with operational needs
Experience and Qualifications
* Lantra 12A, B, C and D
* Preferably Lantra LTMO or TSCO
* Experience in reading and relaying information on TM Drawings
* Auditing experience or training qualifications an advantage
* Full clean driving license
