Up to £42,000 dependent on experience We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Workforce Planning Analyst to join us on a 12-month fixed term contract. Reporting into the IT Workforce Planning Manager, you’ll support in ensuring IT demands are reviewed, assessed and understood with the appropriate prioritisation applied. You’ll also provide analysis and insight into the overall position of the demand and workforce planning requests across all portfolios within AXA UK to ensure trends, patterns and areas of action are identified with appropriate recommendations suggested. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, moving to the majority of your working week from September 2025. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. What you’ll be doing: Ensuring all demands are assessed and delivered in line with the agreed timescales Working with key stakeholders to confirm IT resource requirements to support initiative delivery Providing ad-hoc reporting and insight analysis as required across IT Supporting the creation, management and maintenance of a sourcing strategy to address resourcing and recruitment needs across IT Owning the resource booking process to ensure it evolves and remains fit for purpose over time Supporting the IT Workforce Planning Manager across the demand management process for each business area Providing input into the financial reporting and project governance reporting to AXA UK on portfolio performance against agreed criteria Due to the number of applications we expect to receive for this role, we reserve the right to close this advert earlier than the listed closing date to ensure we’re able to effectively manage interest. What you’ll bring: Previous experience working in a resource management, workforce planning or change analysis environment Good understanding of project/change delivery lifecycles and methodologies Data management and principles experience, having delivered data quality improvements Knowledge of financial reporting and invoicing processes, including budget management, time reporting and data analysis Proven ability to analyse a broad range of management information, draw conclusions and identify recommendations Strong working knowledge of office products, particularly excel with an ability to create and manage medium complexity spread sheet solutions Ability to follow and actively improve processes PowerBI experience is desirable Internal candidates are encouraged to apply for this role as a secondment opportunity through the internal careers site.
