Female Support Worker (Driver) - Wigan/Leigh
Job Advert
A FULL UK DRIVING LICENCE IS ESSENTIAL FOR THIS ROLE
We are currently recruiting for a new service in the Standish area of Wigan to work with a remarkable young lady who is just starting her journey to independence with plans in place for her to move to her own forever home.
This lady is energetic and lively and enjoys a number of activities such as Bikes for All, activities with letters and numbers, Karaoke, singing, and dancing.
She is looking for a support team that can match her enthusiasm and energy but at the same time be a calm and reassuring person when she needs support to help her navigate through her day and support her on her road to independence and living in her own home.
This is a challenging, varied, and rewarding role. You must be willing to work flexibly and provide support with personal care, finance, and medication. Experience is not essential as full training will be provided; you just need to demonstrate the right attitudes and behaviours.
You don’t need any qualifications, but you will be a self-motivated and dedicated person with a fun and imaginative approach who can support people with varied needs.
