Key Responsibilities: Provide high-level administrative support to solicitors and legal teams, ensuring the smooth running of the department. Prepare, proofread, and format legal documents, correspondence, and contracts with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Manage diary appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements for legal professionals. Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. Assist in the preparation for client meetings, hearings, and court appearances. Organise and maintain filing systems, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and easily accessible. Perform general office duties including answering calls, taking messages, and managing email communications. Collaborate with other administrative staff to provide seamless support across the firm. Ensure compliance with internal processes, systems, and legal procedures. Requirements: Proven experience as a legal secretary, ideally within a law firm setting. Strong document production experience, including the ability to create, edit, and format complex legal documents. Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines. Discretion and professionalism when dealing with sensitive matters. Experience in a particular area of law (corporate, commercial, litigation, etc.) is a plus, though not essential.
