As a Registered Manager, you will be supported to deliver outstanding care, develop a strong team, and achieve high-quality standards for the young people in your care.
Essential Requirements and Experience
1. Passion: Commitment to making a positive impact on young people’s lives
2. Experience: At least 2 years in residential childcare, including 1 year in a supervisory role
3. Qualifications: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent) or willingness to enrol within 6 months
4. Knowledge: Familiarity with The Quality Standards, SCCIF, childcare legislation, and regulatory requirements
5. Skills: Leadership, planning, organising, and budget control
6. Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills
7. Understanding Trauma: Knowledge of the needs of children with behavioural, emotional, and social difficulties, including managing challenging behaviour
8. Driving License: Full UK required
